Inaugurated in May 1988, the Municipal Museum of Art of Curitiba was created to store, preserve and disseminate the art collection of the municipality. Gathering around 3,800 works, the museum presents visitors with part of its collection in the permanent exhibition 'Collection Célia and Poty Lazzarotto' - with works belonging to the personal collection of the couple - and hosts temporary exhibitions of renowned plastic artists. MuMA is installed in the 'Cultural Gate' complex alongside other spaces such as 'Cine Guarani' and 'Wilson Bueno Reading House'.
