The Museu de Ciências e Tecnologia da Pontifícia Universidade Católica (Museum of Science and Technology of the Pontifical Catholic State University) was opened in 1998 and is one of the most interactive natural sciences museums of Latin America. In this carefully designed venue, learning is a simple equation that sums up knowledge, interaction and fun. Its collection, made up of fossils, representative specimens of biodiversity and pieces from archaeological excavations, are on display on the floors or integrate thematic exhibitions that foresee the participation of visitors. The exhibitions CSI: a ciência contra o crime (CSI: science against crime), Ciência no Set (Science in the Set) and the Shows Científicos (Scientific Shows) are the highlights.
