Memorial Minas Gerais Vale
Memorial Minas Gerais Vale (The Memorial Minas Gerais Vale)
The Memorial Minas Gerais Vale is housed in a historic building dating from 1897 and built on the site where the foundation stone of Belo Horizonte was laid. Known as the 'Experience Museum', its environments combine, in an interactive way, real and virtual scenarios in a way that leads visitors to a dip in the traditions and history of Minas Gerais, from the 18th to the 21st century. The space has 31 rooms that can be visited independently, as well as temporary exhibitions and living spaces, such as 'Espaço Ler e Ver', 'Mediateca', and 'Cyber Lounge'. The Minas Gerais Vale Memorial is part of the Cultural Circuit Freedom Circuit, which includes other museums and cultural centers: UFMG Knowledge Space, Cemig Center for Popular Art, Casa Fiat de Cultura, Banco do Brasil Cultural Center - BH, MM Gerdau - Museum of Mines and Metal and the Mining Museum.
